“Supervision is an opportunity to bring someone back to their own mind, to show them how good they can be.” - Nancy Kline

Clinical Supervision

Who you choose as your supervisor can have an huge impact on your competence, expertise, wellbeing and job satisfaction.

All of our psychologists attend regular supervision, and find it to be an invaluable process. We want to provide that experience for others as well.

The supervision process should be encouraging, supportive, honest, focused on building competence and expertise, evidence-based, and consider both the clients’ and supervisees’ wellbeing.

If you’re looking to:

  • Develop and refine your clinical skills (e.g. assessment, formulation, treatment planning, evaluating the effectiveness of treatment, establishing rapport, developing motivation for engagement, managing responses to clients)

  • Improve your knowledge and skills working with particular populations or treatment modalities

  • Debrief difficult circumstances arising in your work

  • Identify limitations and areas for your development

  • Ensure your work is evidence-based and up-to-date with the current literature

  • Identify and discuss ways of responding to ethical issues

  • Obtaining feedback about your work

  • Have ongoing support

  • Prevent burnout

We would be more than happy to offer you supervision.
